The Phoenix of Your True Self

The hardest truth about transformation is that it is always terrifying. No matter how many times we face the fires of profound change, fear remains.
At the edge of transformation, we hesitate. We know what awaits. The suffering. The sacrifice. And yet we resist. Because stepping into the unknown requires more than courage. It demands surrender.
How often have we seen others wither under the weight of avoidance? How often have we done the same, convincing ourselves that comfort is worth the slow erosion of our spirit?
But resisting change is not a refuge. It is a prison. The suffering of stagnation stretches endlessly into the days, years, and decades we spend upholding a lie.
Yet the moment we surrender, when we step off the edge and dive into the crucible of transformation, our suffering does not disappear, but it begins to shape us. The path remains difficult, but we move. And movement, no matter how painful, leads us forward.
If we are stuck, exhausted from resisting, with no way left but through, then we must run into the fire. Because within it, something greater awaits. The phoenix of our true self rising from the ashes into the next chapter of our story.
If you need support in stepping into transformation or navigating its many stages, I am facilitating a Full Moon Meditation Workshop on April 13th at Hitchin Lavender. There is no greater ally than the moon and her clarifying, numinous light.
Book tonight and receive two places for the price of one, celebrating the beginning of my classes and workshops in this beautiful space.
See you in the flames.🔥
